Boats and Motors

The outpost is currently equipped with three 16 foot Lunds propelled by 4-stroke, 20 HP Yamaha outboard motors. Boat seats with backs have been installed in the boats. For groups over 6 persons, we will supply additional boats. Please inquire. Extra boats may not be Lunds. There is a supply of PFDs, nets, paddles, boat safety kits, and bait buckets kept near the dock area. If you are partial to your own PFD we do suggest you bring it.

Dock and Grounds

A large, well-designed dock provides ample space for up to four boats, making it easy to load, unload, and enjoy time on the water. Nearby, a storage container is stocked with essential boating equipment, including boat seats, life preservers, safety kits, paddles, nets, and bait containers. This area also features a convenient fish-cleaning station, outdoor seating, and a fire pit. Please note that a second fire pit and additional outdoor seating are located closer to the outpost cabin, offering another quiet spot to unwind.

Electricity and Water

The NorthEnd Outpost is thoughtfully powered to give you modern comfort while staying off-grid. Electricity is supplied by an Anker SOLIX F3000 portable power station paired with two 400W solar panels, providing clean, quiet energy throughout your stay. For added peace of mind, a generator is available as a backup power source when needed. This system allows you to enjoy reliable power while keeping the experience environmentally friendly and serene.

Internet and Communications

For your convenience, the property is equipped with a Starlink satellite internet system offering unlimited Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi network details and passwords will be provided in your pre-arrival guide. Please note that there is no cellular service in the area, so we strongly recommend enabling Wi-Fi calling and texting on your phone before leaving home. Some guests also choose to bring personal satellite communication or navigation devices for added peace of mind while traveling in this remote location.
